Ages 3-8

Little Dancers (Ballet/Tap): This class will include approximately 30 minutes of ballet and 30 minutes of tap. New material is taught every year so students who have taken this class for several years will continue progressing in their abilities. This class is considered a fun introduction to dance for the preschool age child. They will perform 1 dance for our Christmas Outreach and 1 dance for our Spring Dance Concert. (1 hour per week).

*Fridays, 10:00-11:00 a.m. (ages 3-4)
*Fridays, 10:00-11:00 a.m. (ages 5-7)

Little Dancers (Ballet/Tumbling): This class for will include approximately 30 minutes of ballet and 30 minutes of tumbling. Tumbling mats are used to teach little dancers simply floor gymnastics skills such as front and back rolls, cartwheels, handstands and backbends. New material is taught every year so students who have taken this class for several years will continue progressing in their abilities. This class is considered a fun introduction to dance and tumbling for the preschool age child. They will perform 1 dance for our Christmas Outreach and 1 dance for our Spring Dance Concert (1 hour per week).
*Mondays, 6:30-7:30 p.m. (ages 3-6)

Intro to Hip Hop: This class for boys and girls is a great intro to hip hop dance for the younger student. Wholesome, age-appropriate Christian music and moves will be used in class and for performances. (1 hour per week).
*Thursdays, 4:00-5:00 p.m. (ages 4-8)

Ballet 1: This class is for the beginning ballet student. New material is taught each year so returning students will continue progressing in their technique. Students will learn 2 dances during the year, to be performed for the Christmas Outreach and the Spring Dance Concert. *Recommended to take along with Tap 1 for a 90 minute combo class. (45 minutes per week).
*Wednesdays, 5:30-6:15 p.m. (ages 6-8)

Tap 1: Beginning tap dance technique. We will start learning (or reviewing) basic tap steps then will quickly move into tap combinations. New material is taught each year so returning students will continue progressing in their technique. Students will learn 2 dances during the year to be performed for the Christmas Outreach and the Spring Dance Concert. *Recommended to take along with Ballet 1 for a 90 minute combo class. (45 minutes per week).
*Wednesdays, 4:45-5:30 p.m. (ages 6-8)

Tumbling: Tumbling mats are used while students work on gymnastics floor skills. We start with basic rolls, backbends and cartwheels, then move on to more advanced tricks such as handsprings and aerials. Each student may be working on different skills each week. We will work on strength and flexibility as well as beginning thru advanced tumbling skills. (1 hour per week).
*Mondays, 5:30-6:30 p.m. (ages 7+)

Ages 8 – 11

Ballet 2: Beginning to advanced beginning ballet class. This class meets twice a week and begins a more serious study of ballet. This class will perform a dance for our Christmas Outreach and another for the Spring Dance Concert. (For students desiring a once a week class, they should take the Friday Ballet 2-4 class instead of Ballet 2. If it’s not possible to take class on Fridays, teacher may require additional private lessons to be scheduled in order to perform). (2 hours per week).
*Tuesdays, 5:30-6:30 p.m AND Thursdays, 5:00-6:00 p.m. (age 9+ beginners) or (8+ with one year of ballet)

Jazz 1: Beginning-intermediate jazz dance class for ages 8+ at a Ballet 2-3 level. This class will focus on turns, jumps, leaps and both smooth and high energy combinations. Students will learn 2 dances during the year, to be performed for the the Christmas Outreach and the Spring Dance Concert. (1 hour per week).
*Thursdays, 6:30-7:30 (ages 8+)

Lyrical/Modern 1: Beginning to advanced beginning lyrical and modern dance class for ages8& up. For this level, ballet class is recommended but not required. If you desire a faster, edgy style of dance, you should enroll in the Jazz or Hip Hop class. Students will learn 2 dances during the year, to be performed for the Christmas Outreach and the Spring Dance Concert. (1 hour per week).
*Tuesdays, 4:30-5:30 (ages 9+)

Hip Hop 1: Beginning hip hop class for ages 8 & up. This class is replacing our Jazz 1 class from last year. If you desire a more traditional jazz class, you should enroll in the Lyrical/Modern 1 class. Students will learn 2 dances during the year, to be performed for the Christmas Outreach and the Spring Dance Concert. Thursdays, 6:00-7:00 (1 hour per week).

Ballet 3: (**Requires Teacher Approval) Advanced beginner to lower intermediate ballet class. This class is for students with a minimum of one year training in a twice a week ballet class. Teacher approval and twice a week attendance are required for this level. Some students will be invited to join our Pre-Pointe class as they progress. They will perform a dance for our Christmas Outreach and another for the Spring Dance Concert. (For students at this level desiring a once a week class, they should take the Friday morning Ballet 2-4 class instead of Ballet 3). (2.5 hours per week).
*Tuesdays, 5:30-6:30 p.m. AND Thursdays, 5:00-6:30 p.m. (ages 9+)

Ballet 2-4: Beginning through intermediate ballet class. This class will perform a dance for our Christmas Outreach and another for the Spring Dance Concert. (For students desiring a twice a week class, they should take Ballet 2, Ballet 3, or Ballet 4 instead of Ballet 2-4.(1 hour per week).
*Fridays, 10:00-11:00 a.m. (ages 8+)

Tap 2: (** Requires Teacher Approval) Beginning to intermediate tap dance for ages 10 & up (or 9 year old students with at least 1 year of tap) . We will start with basic tap steps and then quickly move to more advanced steps and faster, more complex rhythm patterns. Students will learn 2 dances during the year, to be performed for the Christmas Outreach and the Spring Dance Concert. Tuesdays, 6:30-7:30 (1 hour per week).

Hip Hop: Hip hop class for all levels ages 9& up. Students will learn 2 dances during the year, to be performed for the Christmas Outreach and the Spring Dance Concert. Thursdays,6:00-7:00 (1 hour per week).
*Thursdays 6:30-7:30 (ages 9+)

Vocal Ensemble/Choir: Learn to sing with an ensemble/choir! (1 hour per week)
*Fridays, 11:00-12:00 (ages 9+)

Ages 11 & up (may also take Ages 7, 8, 9 & up classes)

Ballet 4: (**Requires Teacher Approval) Upper intermediate ballet class. This class is for students with a minimum of two years training in a twice a week ballet class. Teacher approval and twice a week attendance are required for this level. Some students will be invited to join our Pointe 1 class as they progress. (**Pointe classes are offered for the serious ballet student and will be taken separately from Ballet classes. Pointe is NOT required for those students in Ballet 4.) They will perform a dance for our Christmas Outreach and another for the Spring Dance Concert. (For students at this level desiring a once a week class, they should take the Friday morning Ballet 2-4 class instead of Ballet 4). (2.5 hours per week).
*Tuesdays, 7:30-9:00 p.m. AND Thursdays, 6:30-7:30 p.m. (ages 11+)

Pre-Pointe/Pointe: (**Requires Teacher Approval) Pre-Pointe and Pointe classes are offered for the serious ballet student and will be taken separately from Ballet classes. Pointe is NOT required for ballet students. Pre-Pointe is for Ballet 3-4 students who have been invited to start pointe training. Pointe 1 is for beginning pointe students in Ballet 4-5. Pointe 2 is for intermediate to advanced pointe students in Ballet 5. Twice a week pointe classes are strongly recommended but not required for Pointe 1-2 students. (1 hour per week).
*Pre-Pointe: Tuesdays, 6:30-7:30 p.m. (ages 10+)

Jazz 2: Intermediate-advanced jazz dance class for ages 11+ at a Ballet 4-5 level. This class will focus on turns, jumps, leaps and both smooth and high energy combinations. Students will learn 2 dances during the year, to be performed for the the Christmas Outreach and the Spring Dance Concert. (1 hour per week).
*Thursdays, 6:30-7:30 (ages 8+)

Tap 3: (**Requires Teacher Approval) Intermediate to advanced tap class for ages 11-adult. Students will learn 2 dances during the year, to be performed for the Christmas Outreach and the Spring Dance Concert. Thursdays, 5:00-6:00 (1 hour per week).

Tap 4: (**Requires Teacher Approval) Intermediate to advanced tap class for ages 11-adult. Students will learn 2 dances during the year, to be performed for the Christmas Outreach and the Spring Dance Concert. (1 hour per week).
*Tuesdays, 4:30-5:30 (ages 11+)

Tumbling: (*Requires Teacher Approval) Intermediate tumbling/gymnastics floor skills for students age 10 & up. This is a non-performing tumbling class (there will be class demonstrations/observation days). Students will be placed in the appropriate class, at the teacher’s discretion, based on their skill level for safety reasons. Students will work on strength, flexibility and more advanced tumbling skills. Mondays, 4:30-5:30 (1 hour per week).

Baton/Tap: Combination class for beginning baton twirlers and tap dancers. We will have 30 minutes of each style each week. One style will be performed for the Christmas Outreach and the other style for the Spring Dance Concert. (1 hour per week).
*Fridays, 11:00-12:00 (ages 8+)

Ages 12 & up (may also take 7, 8, 9, 11 & up classes)

Ballet 5: (**Requires Teacher Approval) Advanced ballet for students ages 12-adult. Students should have a minimum of 3 years of twice a week (or more) ballet classes. Teacher approval is required for this level. (**Pointe classes are offered for the serious ballet student and will be taken separately from Ballet classes. Pointe is NOT required for those students in Ballet 5.) They will perform a ballet dance for our Christmas Outreach and another for the Spring Dance Concert. (For students at this level desiring a once a week class, they should take Adult Ballet or the Friday morning Ballet 4-5 class instead of Ballet 5). Tuesdays 7:30-9:00 and Thursdays, 6:15-7:45 (3 hours per week).

Pointe 1-2: (**Requires Teacher Approval) Pointe class for students in Ballet 4-5. Pointe classes are offered for the serious ballet student and will be taken separately from Ballet classes. Pointe is NOT required for those students in Ballet 4-5. (1 hour per week).
*Thursdays, 7:45-845 (ages 11+)

Teen/Adult (may also take 8, 9, 11, 12 & up classes)

Adult Ballet: This class is recommended for the teen and adult beginning to intermediate ballet dancer. This class will learn 2 dances, one in the Fall Semester and another in the Spring Semester. Performing at our Christmas Outreach and Spring Dance Concert is encouraged but not mandatory. Mondays 6:30-7:30 (1 hour per week).

Adult Lyrical: Beginning to intermediate lyrical jazz class for teens and adults. Ballet class is strongly
encouraged for Adult Lyrical students but not required. Students will learn 2 dances during the year, to be performed for the Christmas Outreach and the Spring Dance Concert. Mondays, 7:30-8:30 (1 hour per week).
